Mix FM Podcasts

What are Podcasts?

Podcasts are simply archived versions of our programming saved as MP3 files. Podcasting is an easy way to get audio highlights from 107.7 Mix FM automatically delivered to your computer or MP3 player (such as an iPod, Creative Zen or DELL). iPod + Broadcast = Podcast. But you don't need an MP3 player to listen. You can listen to 107.7 Mix FM Podcasts right from your computer.

Click on the links below and catch some of our recent live on-air interviews.

  1. Kelly Williams, Car Care Canada, May 14, 2008 - Get some great tips on how to save gas with the pricey summer months on their way.

  2. Eric Coates, Drayton Theatre, May 13, 2008 - Eric is a familiar face at the MIX FM studios and he gives us the details on the current show "The Ballad Of Stompin' Tom" currently playing at the Drayton Theatre.

  3. David Kirby, Hamlet Public School, May 12, 2008 - David is involved in the school's upcoming trip to Music Fest in Ottawa and he tells us the choir's fundraising efforts to make this happen.

  4. John Tesh, Live Interview, May 5, 2008 - Jamie Cottle and Amanda Gray talk to Josh Tesh live from his studio in California about his new book, DVD and his popular weekly radio show that we host on Mix FM.

Can't Hear Our Podcast?

You’ll need a computer with a media player program such as iTunes or RealPlayer that plays MP3s, or a portable MP3 Player.

If you don't have an audio player on your computer, you will need to download it from the internet - click on the links above for iTunes or RealPlayer. Or you can download “podcatching” software. This is a program that “goes out” and searches for the latest audio highlights and delivers them to your computer. Juice Receiver is a free and popular version that is compatible with Windows, Linux and Macs. There are many free podcatchers and media players available online.
